Subiaco Rafting Centre background

Vivere L’Aniene Rafting Centre is located in Subiaco, along the banks of the Aniene river, in the heart of the Borgo degli Opifici (the craftsmen borough), one of the historic boroughs in town where, some decades ago, the town artisans workshops used to be.
Our Centre was born together with the restoration of the Carlani Mill, built in the 16th century. It has been carefully restored respecting the original materials and the building style, for example the wooden beams as well as the local stone.

The activities in Subiaco Rafting Centre

The centre is a cosy and characteristic building. It is the focal point of all outdoor activities in the whole Aniene Valley: such as river sports rafting, canoeing, kayak, canyoning, sup and mountain and rock activities as hiking, sport climbing and potholing.

The interior of the Vivere l’Aniene Rafting Centre

The total surface of the Vivere L’Aniene Rafting Centre is about 500 square metres composed as follows:

• Hall and reception with a soft drinks and snacks dispenser
• Dressing rooms and toilet facilities
• Indoor climbing gym
• Meeting room

The exterior of the Vivere l’Aniene Rafting Centre

The direct access to the river Aniene can be found in the outside garden used for storing the rafts. Here you will also find a 10 metres high climbing wall used for trials and climbing lessons. There is also a small restoring area with gazebo and tables.

In conclusion, our centre is the perfect place to relax in an outdoor atmosphere even if you come for one day, far from the city’s frantic routine.
