Team Building is a collective term for various types of activities used to enhance social relations, especially within Companies.
Vivere l’Aniene offers Team Building activities to Companies, rediscovering each pace of life and promoting experiences close to nature, that will exploit everyone’s potential.
Estranged from the psychological comfort of social reality, the team members will develop new ways to communicate and new forms of interaction. These will be set during each briefing and adapted to their working life.
There are many components for a successful team building:
- getting to know team members extensively;
- promoting and increasing collaboration;
- building and enhancing interpersonal working relationships;
- creating trust and esteem within the team members;
- developing creativity, understanding, empathy, cohesion, integration, leadership;
- achieving goals;
- knowing and recognizing the company’s values;
- setting and appreciating individual purposes, skills and potentialities.
Soft Outdoor
As for team building, the soft outdoor stimulates self confidence as well as in other people, co-operating and activity sharing in order to reach a common target. Without any of these reactions the single activity is not going to be completed.
In order to create the right atmosphere, a short briefing will be performed before the soft outdoor. Then a moment of debriefing will follow aiming to increase the spirit of the team among the colleagues of the company.
Orienteering
Orienteering is also called “the sport in the woods”, as it was born from the necessity to find the right path in a natural environment.
If performed as a team, orienteering can be considered as a profitable activity for team building because those who practise it must:
- make some choices;
- make these choices according to the characteristics and know-how of all the team members;
- select the ideal tactics in order to reach a certain target.
The dynamics so far described develop in a different frame compared to a working environment, capable to reinforce and/or recreate relations within a team of colleagues.
The challenge among teams must be seen as a resource capable to put various members of a team under stress. As a consequence, the personal capabilities and characteristics are stimulated, so that the entire team can move in a synchronized and co-operating fashion.
Soft-Survival
In the team building for soft-survival, all “blindfolded” participants are led to an undefined place. Their task consists of finding the right track guiding them to their “base camp” within a predefined time.
The guides set up some tests for the teams, they will have to face the evidence for instructions and indispensable instructions to come back :lighting a fire, orienteering, orienteering by means of natural sources, building a shelter.
All participants will use the tools acquired when having passed the tests if they wish to reach the target. Here is the list: maps, compasses, survival tactic kit (linchpin, tent, lanyards).
This is a thrilling activity, in a natural and suggestive environment bound to develop a powerful interplay among the company colleagues as well as team spirit, giving yourself a challenge.
Team Walking
Team Walking consists of full immersion hiking in the Simbruini Mountains Natural Park during which the participants involved in the team building receive information concerning its territory, the itinerary to follow and the surrounding natural environment. The speech will be performed by the staff of Vivere l’Aniene.
At the end of the walk, different teams will be formed without the participants being told. Each leader is chosen by the group. Together with all members he will have to answer the questions asked by the Vivere l’Aniene staff. The team that gives the highest number of correct answers is the winner.
Team Walking on the snow
It consists of hiking on the snow using ski poles and snowshoes while immersed in spectacular scenery.
In the heart of the Natural Regional Park of the Simbruini Mountains, the participants will receive information concerning the location, the itinerary and the surrounding nature.
At the end of the walk, different teams will be formed, each with a leader chosen by the group of colleagues. Together with all members, he will have to answer the questions asked by us. The team that gives the highest number of correct answers is the winner.
Soft-Rafting
Rafting on the river Aniene is one of the most exciting and easy experiences during a company team building. If you want to try this adventure you only need a spirit of cooperation with the members of your own team in order to descend the river in total safety. The experience will surely be thrilling and compelling.
We are convinced that these emotions together with the team experiences will teach you a lot, leaving unforgettable memories. Surely they can be used in the company team when remembering the splendid river scenery and the whole Aniene Valley:
- Coordinating: pagaiare insieme per agevolare il gruppo;
- Leadership: identifying the leader whose job consists of guiding the team together with the rafting guide;
- Confidence: trust the guides if you wish to face the “livelier” falls;
- Harmony: in deciding in an “unusual” environment as the river.
Climbing
This activity is a perfect combination between a one man and group challenge.
The test consists of making a banner together with the members of the team to be raised and unrolled at the top point of the artificial wall. The team will pass this test by using correct planning and common determination.
Obviously everyone will take part according to his/her own capabilities and attitudes (someone will climb, someone else will make the banner).
Every member will have to find within himself the determination to overcome his own limits, counting on the energy of the group.

Campo dell’Osso is situated at 1550 mts above sea level in the very heart of the Natural Regional Park of the Simbruini Mountains, only 70 km from Rome, it is the ideal place for all the companies wishing to find some incredible natural beauty. At the same time we must mention the great variety of unique unspoiled corners.
A large part of our activities will take place here among spectacular mountain scenery, featured by extensive beech forests and highlands: the ideal resort to stimulate emotions and spirit of group!

River Aniene
River location for companies team building
The main office of our association is situated in the restored Carlani mill, right beside the ex paper mill in Subiaco: it is a three storey building in the famous local stone called “cardellino”, part of the Barberini Canal residence which, a long time ago, used to be the craftsmanship area of Subiaco.
Our offices consist of a hall, an indoor and outdoor gym, toilet facilities, parking and a splendid view of the Aniene river.
The parking zone is three minutes away. The town centre is only five minutes by foot. Therefore you will find yourself immersed in nature with all comforts.
